The B119-4X2-MV is a versatile HDMI matrix switch designed for control rooms, classrooms, corporate AV and digital signage environments. It allows you to route any of four HDMI inputs to either of two outputs, or monitor all sources simultaneously using quad-view. With seamless switching, built-in scaling and multiple display modes, this switch has been tested across more than fifty devices, including Apple TV 4K, PS5, Roku, Xbox Series X, 8K desktops and a wide range of 4K/1080p televisions and monitors.

Flexible Matrix Switching for Security, Utilities and Transportation Control Rooms

Route any input to any output independently, or mirror inputs across two displays. Convenient push buttons on the front of the unit let you instantly choose which sources and displays to highlight. You can also use the included IR remote control or integrate easily with control systems via RS-232 serial commands. On-screen display (OSD) shows resolution, audio status and active channel to provide useful diagnostics during live monitoring. Power-off memory retains the last configuration after power cycle, which is perfect for signage and unattended installations.

Choose from Quad, Dual, Full-Screen or Picture-in-Picture at the Click of a Button

View up to four HDMI sources simultaneously on a single screen and seamlessly switch between sources on Output A with no black screen or delay. You can watch video from two source devices using Dual Mode (side by side or up/down) or just one in Full-Screen Mode. Picture-in-Picture (PIP) lets you choose a specific video feed as the main display and a small window in one of four corners. Built-in scaling enables compatibility across legacy and modern displays for flexible output resolutions including 1080p, 1600p and 4K @ 30 Hz. Default EDID ensures broad compatibility (advanced EDID features like HDR, 3D and automatic resolution detection are not supported).

Transmits Crystal-Clear 4K Video and Digital Audio

The B119-4X2-MV supports Ultra HD 4K resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz, with support for YCbCr 4:4:4 and 4:2:2 color formats up to 12-bit depth. HDCP 1.4 encryption allows you to stream 4K content with no loss in resolution (not compatible with HDCP 2.2-only devices). Simplify audio integration with both stereo and TOSLINK outputs, allowing you to route sound directly to external speakers, soundbars or AV receivers. Support for LPCM, AC3 and DTS formats provides reliable playback across a wide range of audio systems in classrooms, signage and control rooms where HDMI audio routing isn't practical.

Ready to Use Right from the Package, So You Can Plug and Play Immediately

The compact plug-and-play switch requires no software or drivers to download and install. Connect your devices to the HDMI ports with user-supplied HDMI cables (such as the P568-Series), and plug the included external power supply (with four international plug adapters to ensure use all over the world) into an AC power source to get started. The switch is made of a durable metal housing and can be mounted to a surface or wall using the included mounting hardware.
