The patented SafeSense Technology stops shredding when hands touch the paper opening. Energy Savings System reduces energy consumption by up to 70 percent, compared to conventional commercial shredders during normal usage. Shredder shreds 38 sheets per pass into 1/4" strip-cut particles (Security Level 2) at 20' per minute and catches them in a 35-gallon bin.
